Less is More

Congratulations! You are part of the small, dedicated group of women who are busting their asses to look their best and kick butt in life.

The downside? These women have found themselves stuck between a working out hard and an insatiable appetite.

Here's what the quiz results say about where you are now:

1. You consider yourself addicted to working out. Everything in your schedule revolves around gym time. Some of your friends or family bust your chops about it.

2. You find yourself saying things like, "I need to workout more because I still don't look the way I want to look." or "I should look better with all the working out I do."

3. You are afraid to back off of your routine out of fear that you will undo all that you've accomplished and the pounds will pack back on. You think rest days are for wussies and lazy-asses anyway.

4. You pit your workouts against your food and believe you must earn your calories or bust your ass to work them off.

5. You have tried all the diets; IIFYM, paleo, keto, carb-cycling, intermittent fasting, juicing, cleansing, and everything in between, desperate to find a way of eating that gives you freedom from food obsession and gets your body responding better to your workouts. (but none of these have worked for the long-term)

If you said YES to at least 1 of the above, you are in the right place reading this page. And there is hope! Lots of it.

Getting caught up in the food & fitness fight is a common dilemma among women who workout on a consistent basis. (how can we not with our diet culture the way it is?)

The awesome news is that just by you taking this quiz (seeking freedom) I'm here to tell you, it IS possible for you to break free from the grips that food and working out have on you as you find a way to loathe your body a bit less.... and dare I say actually start LIKING yourself, get better results from how you eat and how you workout so you can appreciate what you see in the mirror everyday.

If I can do it (& hundreds of women I've coached have done it) you have it within you to do it too! ... if you are ready and WANT it, now's your time!

If you are like, "HELL YES Dana, I am ready to get over this shit" then take any or all of these steps to unlock the next step in your journey to freedom:

Step 1. Join My Community of Like-Minded Women

It's time to join a community of women who are working on their mindset, not just their abs.

What is "mindset" you ask?

Mindset is a set of attitudes & beliefs held by someone. In a nutshell, it's what you think and believe about yourself. Example: "No matter what I do, it's never good enough" That is a mindset that will rule your life.

ACTION FOR STEP 1 ------> It's time to get proper support. Join my free private RealFit.tv Fitness & Mindset Training Facebook Group to connect with other women who are changing their thinking to get better results in their bodies and their lives too.

Step 2. Unveil Your Limiting Beliefs

Your solution is NOT in what you're DOING (or not doing), your solution is how & what you are THINKING.

Here's how it works in the inside:

Thoughts (THINKING) > Emotions (FEELING) > Actions/Habits (DOING) = Results

If you are constantly dong, doing, doing without stopping to examine what motivates you to do what you do, then this is a simple fix.

ALL behaviors begin with a thought.

Thoughts create an emotion inside of you & that emotion inspires you to do (or not do) certain things.

When certain thoughts are on auto-pilot, you just get more of the same, even when you are DOING MORE. It's like putting more logs on an already-burning fire.... you get a bigger, hotter fire... more of the same.

When you start at step one and just change one of your thoughts that are on auto-pilot, you have the power to change how you feel and therefore get a whole new outcome.

Example Thought: "I wish I didn't have that extra glass of wine last night."
Emotion: Guilt
Action: Hit the gym & do extra cardio
Results: More of the same - Feel exhausted from the workout and later that day eat something "bad" because you think you earned it (even tho that workout was meant to work off the calories from the night before, you quickly forget.) The cycle continues....

NEW THOUGHT: "That wine hit the spot last night & I had such a good time with my friends. And next time, one glass is plenty!"
NEW Emotion: Happiness, Fulfillment & Forgiveness
Action: Do what feels good to do - maybe a workout, maybe yoga, maybe take a walk, maybe enjoy a rest day. Eating is balanced because you feel good about your perspective. There is nothing to "make up" nothing to earn or burn.
Results: Feel free around food and free to choose your workout based on what your body & mind crave, based on supporting the emotion of happiness. The cycle continues...

If a new set of thinking is part of your solution, then it is imperative for you to understand your own thinking and where it came from so that you can make releasing the guilt a reality.

Despite what you might think right now, let's get real for a moment..... You have come a long way in your life. You didn't get here by accident. In fact, it's worth investigating where those auto-pilot thoughts came from in the first place!

True, those auto-pilot thoughts were once a motivator. They got you started. They got you pushing yourself out of your comfort zone in an effort to improve yourself. They have served you well.

But, where did they even come from, these stories you tell yourself?

And, what are all the ways these limiting beliefs are holding you back that you might not even realize?

In order to change your thoughts deliberately and with intention without feeling like a fraud or a fake, it's vital that you know where they came from.

ACTION FOR STEP 2 ------> It's time to unveil your limiting beliefs & stories. Go through a sample of my Food & Fitness Freedom program where I take you through 5 short videos with simple (& fun) mindset exercises that have provided women just like you with the breakthroughs they have been yearning for when it comes to understanding their behavior around food and what drives the compulsion to workout. Understand why you do what you do so that you can put it behind you & be free from the grips of food, fitness and body image issues once & for all.

Understanding yourself at a deeper level is the only way to get over your shit and live the life you want to live.

It's as simple as this: The more you know WHY you do what you do, the easier it is for you to change it.

Step 3. Try a DIFFERENT Workout Method

This step is about breaking the "eat-workout-overeat-workout harder" cycle and learning how important it is to find the right types of exercises, in the right amounts for your body.

Not every woman will respond well to running, for example.

Just because you have a friend who go good results from it, does not mean it will work for you. ESPECIALLY if you are doing it because you "should" rather than because you "want" to. There's a big difference.

When you move your body in ways that support your happiness, you get the physical results you are looking for. This begins with how you treat yourself on the inside (see #2) and continues with the actions you take that support your new way of thinking (or the desire to think in a new way).

Allow me guide you through letting go of the guilt, obligation and wasting your time by instead, focusing on the nuances of how you are moving your body during your workout sessions. Yes, you'll work hard, but you'll also learn to respect your body so that you leave room to recover, rebuild, get stronger and leaner faster than ever before.

There is something called "Minimal Effective Dose, Maximal Effort" which means that the solution does not lie in doing MORE, it lies in striking a balance between doing the right things, in the right amount, and at the right time.

Get better results from your workouts by refining what you are doing within them! What if it's not about 2 hour workouts & instead it's about how you are moving your body WITHIN your workout?

ACTION FOR STEP 3 -------> Time to change up your workout style, approach and structure my friend! (to get different you must do different)

What is your goal & what is your favorite format? Remember, it's important to do what you LOVE.

Click the link below that calls to you & begin a fresh, new workout program that supports Step 1 & 2 above:

Rest assured you are in a good place. I know you are frustrated & I know if feels like you don't know if you'll EVER break free from the on-gain / off-again cycle. But, I promise you, that the mere idea of you seeking a solution and a way out is the beginning! It took me 15+ years of living in a trapped mind before I realized that I had the power to choose another thought which lead me to better-understand where my stinkin' thinkin' even started from! That was the turning point where everything in my body & my life changed. I became happier. I found my freedom and today I enjoy food and working out with ZERO guilt (& zero pounds gained!)
