Variety Keeps It
There are so many different exercises that are effective. Some only require body weight to challenge, with some dumbbells or bands are necessary. Sometimes it’s more effective to move fast and sometimes it's better to move slow or not at all! I love to change it up and provide you with fun and interesting variations that also challenge your body to continue to change. One thing remains the same…real results every time! In addition, there are so many other engaging, talented instructors here at Realfit teaching so many different kinds of workouts. Spin. Kickboxing. Heavy Bag. Yoga. Barre. Pilates. Step…You will never get bored! You’ll just have so much fun!
Adopt a Balanced Mindset for Real Change
I’ve learned to be successful with fitness we must step away from the all or nothing mindset because it actually sabotages us. I believe in giving it 100% but have redefined what that means. I have learned that some days my 100% is 70% and occasionally it’s only 40%. That’s OK and it’s OK for you too. Each day bring what you have and it will cultivate change in you for the better. So ask yourself, “what is my 100% today?” and bring that to your work out. Some days you’ll rock it! And some days you may need to lighten your weights or hit pause on the video a little more often. It’s OK! Just bring what you got and success will be yours!

Who's Aimee Tkatchov?
My story begins at the age of 19. After years of yo-yo dieting and being defeated by the lies I believed about myself and what food could do for me, I hit my own personal bottom. I came to a fork in the road. I made a decision to stop sabotaging myself with excuses to not exercise and to walk away from compulsive, comfort eating. I was determined to head in the direction of a healthier lifestyle. As a result over the next year I lost 25 pounds and fell in love with movement and shockingly salad too! I first entered the fitness world 5 years later as a group instructor. I quickly realized that my favorite part of teaching was problem solving with participants after class.
Hoping to make a greater impact in the lives of others, at 26 I was first certified as a Personal Trainer so I could individually coach others to reach their goals! I worked in one-on-one training facilities at first and then I took a huge leap of faith and started my own business training on site in client’s homes. As I evolved in my own journey, my mission to help others only intensified. My favorite part of what I do was (and still is) being able to coach, motivate and support others to find and implement solid solutions that create greater physical and mental health for them! I was passionate so I shared what I had learned with whoever would listen. So at 35 years old I began a working with others as a Health Coach. I partnered with the Shaklee Natural Nutrition Company because of their high level of integrity and solid cutting edge science behind all they do. I love that part of what I do because I have given so many peace of mind and clarity in a very confusing area of wellness; that is supplementation.
I am a woman who loves God and her family. I have two great kids and a pretty awesome husband. I thoroughly enjoy being in the woods on a good hike or at my lake cruising around on my paddleboard or kicking the soccer ball with my kids. I also just love connecting with other women, there are few things in life that are more necessary and gratifying than a time with a friend. We need each other girls!
My driving purpose is to serve my community by helping others to find and live out solutions that cause them to live a fuller and healthier life. I have spent my entire adult life dedicated to inspiring others be the strongest and healthiest they can be through my many years in this field. I hope to have the opportunity to inspire you too!
